Compare products for your Terminal 2 journey
Start with your departure and return dates, planned car drop-off time and expected collection time. Your parking times should reflect when you need to hand over and collect the car—not simply your flight departure and landing times.
When reviewing products, check: - Whether the product supports your departure and return terminals. - The total price shown for your dates and any separately payable charges listed in the terms. - The meeting instructions and required contact before arrival. - Cancellation, amendment, late-arrival and delayed-return terms.

Check the 04:00–23:00 service window
Heathrow Meet & Greet service hours are 04:00–23:00 daily. Plan both your outward handover and return collection within that window.
A flight landing before 23:00 does not necessarily mean you will reach the collection point before service closes. Allow time for disembarking, border checks where applicable and baggage reclaim. If either handover could fall outside service hours, clarify the arrangements before booking rather than assuming an out-of-hours collection is possible.
Follow your booked product’s Terminal 2 drop-off instructions
Use the meeting location and approach instructions supplied with your booked product. Do not assume that every Meet & Greet product uses the same Terminal 2 meeting point or that you should drive to the terminal forecourt.
Before setting off, save your booking confirmation and contact number. Check whether you need to call ahead and follow the stated timing. If you are running late, contact the number provided as soon as it is safe to do so.
At the meeting point, confirm you are handing the car to the person assigned to your booking. Remove your luggage, travel documents and valuables, complete the required handover checks and give over the keys. Keep any handover record and return instructions accessible during your trip.
Leave time between car handover and check-in
The parking handover is a separate step from airline check-in. Allow time to find the specified meeting point, unload the car, complete the handover and reach the terminal’s check-in or bag-drop area.
Use your airline’s check-in and bag-drop deadlines to plan backwards. Do not treat your booked parking time as the time you will be ready for security. Our [guide to planning your Heathrow arrival](/guides/heathrow-departure-arrival-check-in-security-guide) can help you organise the departure sequence.
Arrange collection when you return
Follow the return instructions in your booking confirmation, including when to call and where to meet. Some instructions may require you to complete particular arrival steps before making contact; use your product’s guidance rather than assuming you should call immediately after landing.
If your flight is delayed or your arrival terminal changes, contact the number supplied with your booking to confirm the next steps. Do not assume a different terminal or collection time can be accommodated without checking the terms.
At collection, check the car and your belongings before leaving, and raise any concerns promptly using the contact process provided.
Book ahead to check the details before departure
Booking ahead gives you time to read the handover instructions, check the service hours against both flights and understand the product’s amendment and cancellation terms. It also gives you an opportunity to clarify any terminal changes or timing concerns before travel day.
Before paying online, review your dates, parking times, terminal details, vehicle registration and contact information. Keep the confirmation somewhere you can access while travelling. Advance booking is useful preparation; it is not a promise of a lower price.
Frequently asked questions
- Where do I meet the driver at Heathrow Terminal 2?
- Use the exact meeting point in your booked product’s instructions. This page does not specify a universal Terminal 2 handover location because arrangements depend on the product. If the directions are unclear, contact the number in your confirmation before driving to the terminal.
- Can I depart from Terminal 2 and return to another Heathrow terminal?
- Check that the product supports your terminal combination before paying, and provide both terminals when requested. Do not assume a different-terminal return is included. See our [advice for different Heathrow departure and return terminals](/guides/heathrow-different-departure-arrival-terminals) for the details to confirm.
- What if my return flight is delayed beyond 23:00?
- Heathrow service hours are 04:00–23:00 daily. Contact the number in your booking confirmation as soon as you know the delay may affect collection. The next steps and any additional charges depend on your product’s terms; out-of-hours collection should not be assumed.
